The Client

A global reaching International NGO engaged in humanitarian disarmament projects in non-permissive environments.

The Need

Compliance with International Mine Action Standards and safeguarding of clearance personnel.

Task

An assessment of medical planning, adequacy of equipment, personnel, logistics and communications procedures.

Service

ESG deployed a consultation team to assess on site medical capabilities. After a 5 day assessment, a number of recommendations were presented. In response to the recommendations, ESG were instructed to deliver IMAS compliant medical training for 40 medical staff over the following two weeks, after which a full report of findings was compiled for the client. ESG made recommendations to upgrade equipment and communications procedures and assisted the project manager in the creation of new procedures.
